For users of ACT! Premium 2012’s Web Access, your master ACT! database sits on our web servers at our ISP.
Multiple users can access the database simultaneously in real-time from any PC in the world with internet access.

For users of ACT! Premium 2012’s desktop licenses, your master database resides on our web servers. Users do not access it directly. Instead, ACT! Premium 2012 is installed on remote user's PCs with a 'remote' database. Each remote database 'synchronizes' (exchanges data updates) with the master database via the internet.
